Owen and Rebecca started taking piano lessons w/ Ms. Jacqueline sometime after the new year (February?) and we think she's awesome. She has that perfect combo of incredible talent (you should hear her play!!!) and a real gift of teaching. She is so patient with each of my big kiddos and she knows just how to talk to them to motivate and encourage them (differently)!
Right about the time school ended they had their first performance - at a Steinway Gallery in town - fancy pianos! Both kids were excited. Owen picked out his own clothes - he said this shirt was hsi fanciest. Rebecca was super excited because we picked out a new dress. It's the little things. :)
It was hard to get photos during the actual performance because of all of the rows of parents and grandparents, but here they are warming up.

I think Owen and Rebecca had the biggest entourage - Kyle and I, Nana, Dadho and Pam, Bee, and our international student friend Tony (from Ireland) and her boyfriend Gabe. Quite the cheering section!
