Kyle jokes that Mother's Day should really be called Not-Mothering Day because (moment of honesty) most of us moms would love to celebrate it by getting a little time off. Well, this wasn't the year for that for us (Kyle had to work that afternoon/evening) but we did get to have a great BBQ lunch w/ Franny after church (okay, good BBQ - because now everything compared to Kyle's is just pretty good) and then my mom came over (to mother me) and help me do the whole evening routine with the kiddos. It was a great day, despite not getting it "off."
In addition to each of the kids picking out a different color bouquet of tulips for me (sweetness) I got these perfect little handmade sussies.
