This girl creates SO much art!.
So much.
Here's just a smattering of what I kept from this year.
Close-up of her family project - The Mezger Bakers from Grandparents Day
Lots of 3-D art, most incorporating toilet paper rolls which she hoards.
Her "Art Dog" - pockets for carying tape, sharpies, etc....even an Almond Joy taped to his tummy (artists get hungry)
Art cases
A craft from her giant art jar (a kit gift with different ideas) - this was a 1st place ribon for Kyle for no reason other than being awesome.
Left: Her love note to Luke that luckily never made it to LUke. It's 3D.
Right: The 3-D scene of she and Luke getting married. It got squished but she drew and cut out about 50 little people and they're glued to the paper to stand up - they're the guests.
Lots of long paper banners with all sorts of interesting things.
This is my FAVORITE thing she made this year - she sat outside almost in the dark (with a headlamp) to draw our house.
She makes books - this is her Ninja Turtle book
Pages and pages and pages inside just like this
Pumpkin + Minion + Ninja Turtle + Jewel
Sounds about right.
Butterflies
I have no idea
Picaso-esque
Book done in school including the Scriptures they memorized this year.
Art book / memories compiled by Mrs. Adams - such a special keepsake.
Her "passport" from Ms. Clemmons afternoon class where she traveled to a different country each week and learned all about it through its art, music and food. Perfect for this one. Tonght she asked me while we were making spaghetti - mom, what's that place with all the canoes and really good food - like spaghetti? Venice.
She wrote my name on this and made a bunch of color copies in our printer and put them all over the house. CREEPY.
A card for Jingle Doggy's birthday a while back.
During her Word World phase when she would write down all the words as they taught them.
The note she made for the snack she made for for my and Kyle's trip to Paris last summer.
A minion she made for Maggie.
And more and more and more.
Medical Art
No boys aloud. But minions are okay.
Mermaids
And more minions
And craziness
Christmas art
Some actual school work. Plus art.
Notes to us: Wake up Daddy! Rebecca
Her half birthday is on my calendar now
Mawage
Surgery?
Galaxy Adventures...
From her Snow White play
Her Mine Craft noteook. It was blank inside. I guess she decided to just play Mine Craft.
More actual schoolwork
A sketch from our Zilker fieldtrip
All her little kinder nametags
Her self-portrait at the beginning of the year and her "blue folder"
Handwriting
Her character rock from Mrs. Adams. I was pretty sure it was going to say PIZAZZY since that's the word Mrs. Adams "made up for her" at the beginning of the year.
But, shocker, it says CREATIVITY! (With a verse to encourage her to work hard!)
Colossians 3:23-24 Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ.
