The beginning of school always comes with mixed emotions. Of course, its good to get back into a routine. But we had such a good summer that I think I (maybe more than the kids) was dreading the transition.
Despite this early-morning pic, they actually adjusted well.

Rebecca is in Mrs. Lane's class.
They did some hallway reorganization so Owen is now upstairs with the 4th-6th graders - big time! Here he is with Mrs. Bergfeld.

Maggie didn't actually start school for several weeks but here she is all ready to join Mrs. Laurie's class! (Our fave teacher at WPDS and the reason it was easy to make the decision to stick around for another year for Miss M.)
Back to the bigs. Their first day was super crazy humid so I had a hard time keeping moisture off of my lens for pics after school.

Thankful for these guys. For their school. And another year...here we go!
