The weekend before Rebecca's actual birthday was shaping up to be pretty busy so we had her party the weekend before...a hint at the theme: our cupcake cake...

First of all - this retrofitted old house just outside our neighborhood is super cool - they did such a fun job of making the inside feel bright and creative and fun but also open and super cool!
But now for the reason we're all here...SPLATTER PAINT!
This the THE splatter paint room.
But before we can go in...lets just do some drawing and wait on all of our friends to come.
A demonstration of how to use the different tools to splatter in different ways - they had everything from paint brushes to whisks to fly swatters to squirt bottles.
